Bio

Born in Scotland, Graham MacIndoe studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art and went on to earn a master's degree in photography at the Royal College of Art in London. He moved to New York City in 1991, working as a gallery assistant for Bonni Benrubi and Howard Greenberg before pursuing a career as a commercial photographer. He has shot advertising campaigns and annual reports for IBM, ESPN, MasterCard, Microsoft and Fidelity and photographed a wide range of subjects for publications including The Guardian, I.D., W magazine and The New York Times. His work is in the collections of the V&A Museum in London, the British Museum of Film and Television and Scotland’s National Portrait Gallery.
